Objective

 

Through the creative process of working on a joint art project, participants will gain direct insight and understanding of how to build teams that work, in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

 

The Activity

 

Your group works together to design and produce a work of art onto canvases suitable for  permanent display at your office or facility.

 

The group  are divided into sub-teams and assigned a canvas. They will then be given one part of a whole picture, which they must reproduce onto their canvas.

 

Interesting mixed media and quality art materials are used - some of which need to be won during smaller activities which are integrated into the session.

 

Participants soon realise that team unity and collaboration is needed, if the canvases are to come together seamlessly at the end of the activity. Tactics and strategy, as well as negotiation and communication skills then come into play.

Themes for the art work can be customised to your requirements or you can leave the topic up to us.

 

• Maybe you want the  focus of the day to reinforce your companies value's and vision. Your team will be given the challenge of designing a piece of art work which reflects your company's ethos. 

 

• Maybe your want to raise personal and group awareness  of individual roles within the company. Each participant will complete a canvas which reflects what strengths and skills they feel they bring to their role. At the end of the session all the canvases will be displayed collectively and each member of the team will be given the opportunity to explain their picture.

 

• Subjects can follow on from the theme of your event such as a recent team building and training programme that commenced at the National Space Centre, Leicester, UK. Delegates worked into teams to compete to complete the best picture of the Space Shuttle Launch.

 

 

Locations

 

Corporate Art Workshops are highly mobile and can be run in any suitable indoor space throughout the UK and Europe. We can recommend places and locations but if you have already found your venue we would be delighted to speak with them to check that the space is appropriate.
